Shipping


Shipping and Handling

Orders ship via UPS. We do our best to process purchases placed during normal business hours within 1-3 business days. Please note that orders placed during the holiday season and sale periods may take 7-10 business days to process and ship.


Shipments totaling over $300 will require signature for delivery.


Shipments to PO Boxes will be completed by USPS.


Shipping Time

Average shipping time is less than 5 business days


Shipping times are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary depending on shipping locations. Indigo octopus is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.


Expedited Shipping

We offer overnight shipping for an additional cost. If you do not see this option at checkout, please email us at info@indigooctopus.com


Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from us with a tracking link. If you are unable to locate this email, or believe you have yet to receive your shipping confirmation, please email us info@indigooctopus.com


Lost Packages

If your package is lost in transit, please contact the shipping company that is handling your delivery (ex: UPS or USPS)  We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. You are responsible to file the claim with UPS/USPS should your package be lost or stolen. We are NOT responsible for stolen shipments or orders shipped to the wrong address. We are also NOT responsible for weather related damages or delays. We ARE responsible for your package until it reaches UPS/USPS. We will do anything we can to assist you in resolving any issues you may have. You will not be refunded for your purchase if UPS/USPS loses your package (unless we are found liable).



Refund Policy

Returns

Returns/exchanges can be accepted within 14 days of original purchase date. Sale items + sunglasses are FINAL SALE + can NOT be returned or exchanged. 


Merchandise returned or exchanged must be unworn + in proper condition for resale with tags attached + accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will be issued in form of original payment method. All merchandise returns + exchanges must occur in the location of purchase.

Returning Your Product

To return your product, please reach out to us at info@indigooctopus.com.


Full priced product should be shipped to: 7126 Bethesda Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item + are not responsible for any products that are lost, stolen or damaged during transit. 


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


Refunds (if applicable)

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed + a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If the refund is not seen in 5-10 business days contact your credit card company/bank.  If you’ve followed up with your credit card company/bank + you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@indigooctopus.com


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.


If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
